Established in 1965, Roselea Public School has gained a positive reputation as a community centred school in which not only academic excellence and thinking skills are valued and pursued but the development of healthy relationships, acceptance and tolerance have become key features.
The particular focus of the school is: To strive for excellence and to care for all students in a dynamic learning environment. This statement is effectively demonstrated by the way in which both able-bodied and physically disabled children and those from a background other than English learn alongside each other in a non-discriminatory, harmonious environment.
Roselea Public School actively encourages a close working relationship between parents, students and staff to enhance all aspects of learning. Many parents contribute their skills and support in a variety of areas including assistance with reading, maths' groups, sport, library, music, excursions and fundraising.
Although a special day is set aside each year to inform people of all that Roselea has to offer its students, visits to the school at other times by families considering enrolment are always welcome.
