Roselea Public School teachers actively promote an increase in students' physical fitness, improvements in fine motor skills and the importance of a healthy life style. Students participate in fitness sessions and sport programs both within the school and through the Public Schools' Sporting Association (PSSA) inter-school sport activities.
The Swimming program is conducted in Term 4 and all students from Kindergarten to Year 6 participate. This greatly increases the water confidence and swimming competence of students involved.
This year our school was also involved in the Q4 - Live outside the Box healthy lifestyle program. Students were encouraged to keep journals detailing their dietary intake and physical activity levels for a month to help and increase their awareness of the actual amounts of food and exercise they receive.
